Claims Management / Protocol

Comprehensive Risk Management takes a proactive approach to claims management. This approach results in effective cost containment by achieving appropriate claim resolution in the shortest time possible.

Claims Investigation

The investigation process is an intrinsic part of the claims management process because it is the essential step necessary to determine claim validity and compensability. For example, we promptly review the accident report, the physician's report, the supervisor's report of accident and statements obtained from the injured worker and other witnesses. If we determine that we need additional information to make our determination, we actively pursue obtaining the information. Frequently, we will require additional witness statements, diagrams of the area where the incident occurred, further medical clarification and any other facts which will enable us to correctly administer the claim for benefits. If professional investigation is warranted, we will solicit authorization from our clients to hire the services for professional statements, surveillance, background checks, etc.
